Yes, you probably annoy me.

Annoying Technology of 2008 - Blu-ray Technology.
When I predicted that HD-DVD would win the format war,
it really looked like I would end up eating crow for picking the wrong horse.
Turns out, "winning" the format war essentially means delaying your death a few
years. This should serve as a reminder of why we shouldn't let Sony win
format wars in the first place: they value proprietary technology in the 21st
century. That business model died a long time ago, but hey, what do I know
about business? Not much, but then again, my company isn't hemorrhaging
money, either. Blu-ray players are prohibitively expensive, and Blu-ray
movies are too expensive. While I would personally pay $30 for a copy of
Hancock on Blu-ray, because I am a fucking retard, I can't imagine many normal
people would. Another hint: when people buy a Playstation 3 in order to
get a 'cheap' Blu-ray player something is wrong with your market implementation.
Blu-ray sucks, Sony sucks, people who support either are idiots. Done.
