Yes, you probably annoy me.
Most
Annoying Technology of 2007
This was another absolute no brainer. The
Nintendo Wii has gone from joke, to desireable, back to joke in the span of 14
months. Why? The insanely engineered "supply issue" for starters.
The demand is not that high. In the past year Nintendo, if they wanted to,
could have flooded the shelves with these things but they haven't because they
want to keep the perceived scarcity since that makes people want it more.
Secondly, there are no fun
games. Like every Nintendo system, buying one seems like a great idea when
it comes out, yet two years later it has a layer of dust on it because Nintendo
hasn't got any worthwhile third party support. I'd rather pluck my eyes
out than play Mario Galaxy. Metroid doesn't count as a real first person
shooter. Zelda... gay elf. No Forza, no Crysis, no Madden (worth
playing), no Halo 3. Who the fuck wants to play these worthless Nintendo
games? If someone says "Well Wii Sports is fun," I would reply, "Tell me
how fun it is 14 months later when its still the only game you own because the
rest of them are total shit."
No other technology came
close to having such a high desirability to usefulness ratio as the Nintendo Wii
in 2007. Thus, the decision was clear.
