Most Annoying Trend of 2007

While this category could have gone in a million ways, I feel the only real selection can be something so pervasive that it would affect everyone, everywhere.  This insidious trend has managed to worm its way into every demographic from 22 year old hippie male to 76 year old grandma.  No, I'm not talking about medical Marijuana, I'm talking about Crocs.  These abominations have been harped on at length on about every comedy site on the internet, and while I really, really wanted to pick non-cliched winners, this one was undeniable and impossible to overlook.

So congratulations, Crocs, you managed to make me scratch my head in bewilderment more than once this year, and at least one time I nearly died of apoplectic fit from anger at your existence.
